Instructions for Abstract Submission:

• Deadline for abstract submission: June 16, 2026, 11:59 p.m. ET.
• Abstracts cannot exceed 250 words and must be submitted in English and /or French. Abstracts submitted in French must be accompanied by an English translation.
• Abstracts must be submitted using the online submission form.
• Abstracts must be organized into the following headings: Introduction, Methods, Results, Conclusion.
• Tables or illustrations are not permitted in the abstracts.
• The conference planning committee will review all submitted abstracts.
• Notice of acceptance will be sent by email in by end of July 2026. Once accepted and confirmed for inclusion in the program, conference registration of the presenter is required by August 31, as a condition of inclusion. Presenters will receive further instructions on poster dimensions in the notice of acceptance.
• No financial assistance is available to presenters for travel, registration or accommodation.
• Authors must be present at the conference during the Welcome Reception at the Delta Hotels Saint John in Saint John, New Brunswick, on Sunday, October 4, from 4:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., to present and discuss their poster and topic.
• Accepted abstracts will be included in the 2026 Book of Abstracts, available on the OEMAC website.
